Hallmarking

l am proud to be registered with Goldsmith’s Assay Office, London for selling precious metals. All Jewellery pieces weighing 7.78g and above are hallmarked with the UK compliance hallmarks and my personal maker’s mark by the Assay Office.
Pieces under 7.8g that do not require hallmarking will not be hallmarked. However all of my items are handmade and are guaranteed sterling silver as stated.

Ring Sizing

If you are not sure of your ring size, check first to see if you have any letter stamped in your existing rings, this letter will indicate you ring size according to UK sizing.
To make it easier for you I do sell a very handy little plastic ring sizer which I can post out to you before ordering for £2.00 including p&p, please message me if you would like to order one.
You can also pop into any local high street jewellers who will measure your ring size for you. Ring sizes in the UK are measured alphabetically, remember to make sure that the ring sizers you try on are the same width as the ring you intend to buy.

A good fit is one that goes on without a struggle but needs a wiggle to come off. Our hands can swell when they’re hot, so try to get measured when you’re relaxed and at a normal temperature.

However if you live close by I am happy to measure your ring size for you and you can also try on stock I have available.

Jewellery Care

Silver and bronze will tarnish in time, it reacts to oxygen and sulphur in the air, it also reacts to perfumes and cosmetics on our skin and hair. It is completely normal and a natural reaction.

How do we stop this and keep our jewellery sparkling?
Silver and bronze both remain at their shiniest best when worn daily, however chemicals and household cleaners will tarnish them. Therefore it is always best to remove before doing household chores, swimming or bathing.

Bronze will especially oxidise in hot temperatures, don’t panic as this will soon disappear when washed and cleaned.
Always keep your Bronze jewellery in a clean airtight bag or box when not being worn, you may notice it has gone a darker shade and lost its shine when you go to wear it but don’t worry this is a natural characteristic of bronze.

You can easily restore it …

Enclosed with your Jewellery will be a small little jewellery polishing cloth to keep your jewellery sparkling! I
However another way of cleaning your Bronze jewellery is to occasionally give it a wash in warm soapy water with a small soft brush, rinse and buff dry thoroughly with a clean cloth. You will have your bronze jewellery back to its wonderful rosy glow again!

Enjoy your Jewellery!
